Obsolete Certificates

As per 31 October 2021 all terminal certificates of the C-TAP versions prior to C-TAP v10.1 shall become obsolete. As those terminals no longer adhere to the latest security and card scheme requirements the C-TAP Acquirers have the obligation to take these obsolete terminals out of the market before 31 October 2021.

Before Acquiris became operational, EPCI was commissioned as certification body by a substantial number of acquirers operating in Belgium to certify terminals operating according to Belgian versions of the C-TAP specifications.
