The SMB (Specifications Management Board) manages the evolution of the C-TAP specifications and propose and maintain a lifecycle management model for these common specifications, including principles, rules & liabilities on the basis of requests coming from members, analyzing the requests to extend or amend the C-TAP specifications, including areas such as:
• Multiple configurations;
• Multiple card entry modes;
• Card and cardholder verification;
• Cardholder and merchant guidance;
• Driven by Common Parameters and acquirer business rules;
• Services and additional functions
